Born and raised in Hawke's Bay, Chris graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 2014 with an LLB and a BA and joined Cullen in April 2016.
Prior to joining Cullen, Chris worked for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as a Client Service Advisor. In that role Chris gave advice to members of the public on residential tenancy issues and information on employment matters.
Chris is focused on providing thorough advice and practical options for both employers and employees. He frequently advises on disciplinary issues, performance management and restraints of trade, amongst other issues.
Chris has extensive experience at mediation and has appeared before the Employment Relations Authority and Tenancy Tribunal. He has also presented numerous seminars on a wide range of employment and health and safety related topics.
Away from work Chris is an avid football fan and spends his cold winter Saturdays turning out for VUWAFC .
